HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home for Mr. Hugh Rogers, 71 of 7324 Stewart-Sharon Rd., who died Monday evening at his home following a long illness.

He was born December 12, 1929 in Culberson, NC a son of Claude and Lula Cole Rogers and moved to the area in 1951.

Mr. Rogers was a crane operator for LTV Steel for 32 years before retiring in 1984. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He leaves his wife, the former Nancy L. Jones whom he married August 5, 1955; a son, Robert Rogers of Brookfield, OH; two daughters, Paula Fox of Marble, NC and Kathleen Latimer of Brookfield, OH; two brothers, Nolan Rogers of Canton, NC and Jerry Rogers of Asheville, NC; three sisters, Frances Farner of Murphy, NC, Louise Morgan and Helen Long both of Marble, NC; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Four brothers, Edward, Robert, Charles and Junior Rogers and a sister, Minnie Rogers are deceased.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Thursday 7 to 9 PM.
