HUBBARD Helen L. Swan, 87, of Hubbard, died Monday morning, December 24, 2007, at her nephew's home in Columbiana. She was born on September 22, 1920, in Wellsville, OH, a daughter of Harry R. "Rex" and Dora M. Wolfe Hall and has lived in Hubbard since 1957.

Mrs. Swan, a homemaker, was a member of First United Methodist in Hubbard and a member of Eastern Star Crystal Chapter #18 in East Liverpool. She was a 1939 graduate of Wellsville High School.

Her husband, Ralph E. Swan, whom she married on August 3, 1957, died on November 15, 2001.

She leaves a step-son, Earl F Swan of Florida; two step-daughters, Janus F. Paulin and Rosemary Hinko, both of California; a nephew, Richard W. (Patricia) Steepleton of Columbiana; a niece Carelene Steepleton of Poland.

Besides her husband, preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Charles Hall, two sisters, Dorothy Hall and Phyllis M. Steepleton and a nephew, Gregory Steepleton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
