HERMITAGE Helen M. Rubalcava, 88, formerly of Hubbard and Wheatland, died Wednesday morning, October 27, 2010. She was born June 4, 1922 in Wheatland, a daughter of John M. and Gertrude Hilgert Vasilie.

Mrs. Rubalcava retired from Sawhill Tubular after 15 years of service. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard. Helen bowled on the Sunset Senior league in Farrell, PA and enjoyed crocheting, travel, cooking and baking.

She leaves two sons, Richard Carl (Linda) Rubalcava of Cape Coral, FL and David Lee (Darla) Rubalcava of Marietta, GA; three daughters, Juanita R. (Jerry) Burrows of West Middlesex, PA, Linda R. (John Mayo) Jones of Marietta, GA and Denise L. (Alan) King of Hermitage; five grandchildren, Kelly, Karla, Brandon, Amanda and Caroline and four great grandchildren, Keri, Logan, Megan and Landon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl and Mike Vasilie; two sisters, Victoria Fluent and Christine Macabobby.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 144 West Wood St., Youngstown, OH 44503.

Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sharon, PA.
