HUBBARD Mrs. Helen B. Oakley, 91, of Hubbard, died Saturday afternoon, December 21, 2002 at Liberty Health Care Center. She was born October 7, 1911 in Vandergrift, PA, a daughter of Michael and Rose Marshall Butch and lived in Hubbard since 1941, coming from Campbell, OH.
Mrs. Oakley formerly worked for Patton's Market, Hubbard. During World War II she was a laborer for Republic Steel. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, the
Altar and Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary. Helen was a 1928 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.
Her husband, William H. Oakley, whom she married July 2, 1934, died July 3, 1961. She leaves a son, Michael Oakley of San Diego, CA; three daughters, Barbara Deichler of Brookfield, OH, Nadyne Oakley and Patti Schwellinger both of Hubbard; a brother, James DeMasi of Mackinaw, MI and 13 grandchildren. Two sons, Melvin and William and three brothers, Michael, William and Joseph Butch are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Monday, 5 to 8 PM.
