HUBBARD Helen Hrycyk, 85, of Hubbard, died Wednesday morning, June 14, 2006, at her residence. She was born March 25, 1921, in Hubbard, a daughter of William and Pearl Bistransky Ewankowich and lived most of her life in the area.

Mrs. Hrycyk was an office manager for Taylor Rental for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church in Youngstown, a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and a perogi maker.

Her husband, Pete Hrycyk, whom she married on October 25, 1952, died on March 13, 2004.

Besides her husband, her parents, an infant daughter and a sister, Anne Crupi, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard and at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church in Youngstown.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
