HUBBARD Helen Babyak, 82, of Hubbard, died on Thursday afternoon, May 10, 2007, at Sharon Regional Health System. She was born on March 3, 1925, in Greenville, PA, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Macura Mikita and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Babyak had worked for Republic Rubber Corporation for 25 years. She attended St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and was a member of the Candleglow Support Group. Helen enjoyed knitting, reading and playing cards.

Her husband, John G. Babyak, whom she married in 1963, died in 1991.

She leaves two sons, Joseph J. Babyak of Charlotte, NC and John G. Babyak, Jr. of Hubbard and a brother, Steve Mikita of Hubbard.

Besides her husband, her parents, six brothers, Tom, George, Bill, Andy, Mike and John Mikita, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
