HUBBARD Hazel M. Garono, 64, of Hubbard, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at her residence. She was born on July 14, 1942, in Welch, WV, a daughter of Garnette and Cora Blackburn.

Hazel was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends who loved her. Her greatest pleasures in life were going to Seneca Casino with her sister, Betty, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She leaves her husband, William J. Garono; two sons, Timothy (Stephanie) Ladig and Steven (Stacy) Ladig, both of Hubbard; two sisters, Betty Bingham of Hubbard and Mary (Robert) Brown of Cedar Bluff, VA; four brothers; a step-daughter, Denise Garono and four grandchildren, Katie, Mitchell, Spencer and Skylar Ladig.

Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.

Private funeral services were held at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.
