HUBBARD Harry John Schelhorn, 83, of Hubbard, died Wednesday morning, September 17, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 21, 1925, in Bayonne, NJ, a son of Harry and Margaret Keating Schelhorn and had lived in Hubbard for the past six years coming from Edgewater, NJ. Mr. Schelhorn owned and operated Shelley Piling Corp., Edgewater, NJ, for 40 years retiring in 1995.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hubbard, Northvale, NJ and Ft. Lee, NJ, the American Legion in Edgewater, NJ and the Elks Club in Ft. Lee, NJ. Mr. Schelhorn served with the US Navy in World War II and the Korean War and enjoyed boating.

He leaves his wife, the former Marjorie Beerman, whom he married April 23, 1951; one son, Christopher Schelhorn of Edgewater, NJ; three daughters, Renea (Dan) Keitel of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Wendi (Jeffrey) Ohlinger of Sharpsville, PA and Zosha (Dominic) Wohltman of Jersey City, NJ; one sister, Elizabeth Doulin of Northvale, NJ and six grandchildren, Amanda and Victoria Keitel, Kyle, Evan and Pacy Ohlinger and Dominic Wohltman Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., Northvale, NJ 07647.

Family and friends may call at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home on Sunday, 2-4 and 7–9 pm.
