GREENVILLE PA Harriet Deloris "Dee" Shilling, 85, died Tuesday evening April 2, 2013 at her daughter's home. She was born August 6, 1927 in Hubbard, a daughter of Arthur Gilbert and Mary Harriet MacDonald Policy and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Shilling was a press operator at US Can in Hubbard for 30 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Disciples of Mary. Dee was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 3767 in Hubbard.

Her husband, Glen R. Shilling, whom she married June 28, 1969, died July 27, 1987.

She leaves three sons, Tom McFarland of Hubbard, Rick and Dee McFarland of Hubbard and Drew and Kathy McFarland of Buena Vista, CO; a daughter, Pamela and Tim Burns of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Danielle and Gary, Martin, Richard, Megan, Shawn, Andrew, Jessica and Brook McFarland; three great grandchildren, Kylee and Emily Martin and Mavrick McFarland.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Mary Kay Burns.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.

The family wishes to thank Hospice and Palliative Care in Hermitage for all their wonderful care.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery at a later date.
