LIBERTY TWP. Harold M. Johns 93, of Liberty, died Tuesday evening, October 21, 2003, at Northside Medical Center. He was born July 28, 1910, in Reynoldsville, PA a son of Harold and Ella Deter Johns and moved to the area in 1942.

Mr. Johns worked for Wean United Manufacturing for 33 years retiring in 1975 as a supervisor. He was of the Protestant faith, a member of the Elk's Club of Girard, the Maenerchor Club of Youngstown and enjoyed golf.

His wife, the former Gladys Smith, whom he married July 4, 1937, died December 10, 1995. He leaves four sons, Charles (Patricia) Johns of Philadelphia, PA, Gary Johns of Butler, PA, Ronald (Donna) Johns of Canfield and Richard (Amy) Johns of Akron, OH; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

His parents, a son Harold Johns Jr., two sisters, Aldine Johns and Jeanette Wolfgang and a brother, Theodore Johns are deceased.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard with the interment to be held at 1:30 PM at St. Catherine Cemetery, DuBois, PA.

Friend may call at the funeral home on Friday, 5 to 8 PM.
