GIRARD Mr. Harland E. "Hawk" Jamieson, 69, of Girard, died Friday evening, February 28, 2003 at St Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born August 9, 1933 in Greenville, PA a son of Harold and Charlotte Wilcox Jamieson and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Jamieson worked for GATX as a welder for 26 years before retiring in 1984. He was an avid post card collector as well as being a post card dealer. He was a member of the Western Reserve Post Card Club, the GATX retirees, and enjoyed archery, hunting and fishing.

He leaves his wife, the former, Emily Scelsi, whom he married October 30, 1952; a son, Mathew (Michelle) Jamieson of Masury, OH; two daughters, Dawnelle (Robert) Hitchcock of Masury, OH and Karen Al'Sharif of Youngstown, OH; one brother Larry Jamieson of Masury, OH; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, 5 to 7 PM and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
