HUBBARD Hallie E. Harper, 80, of Hubbard, died Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at Northside Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1923, in Whitmer, WV, a daughter of Isaac and Floda Nelson Thompson, and had been a Hubbard resident since 1955.

Mrs. Harper was a homemaker, an active member of Coalburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed ceramics and reading.

Her husband, Orville W. Harper, whom she married in October, 1942, died in June, 1998.

She leaves two sons, Larry J. (Brenda) Harper and William I. (Deborah) Harper, both of Hubbard; one daughter, Helen Kaye (William) Rasile of Longview, TX; one sister, Edith Vandevander of Kerens, WV; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, a son, Orville Harper Jr., her parents, six brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
