HUBBARD Guy J. Angelo, 84, of Hubbard, died Thursday evening, September 18, 2008, at Northside Medical Center. He was born on February 8, 1924, in Hubbard, a son of Frank and Mary D'Christofaro Angelo and lived most of his life in Hubbard.

Mr. Angelo retired from the US Air Force in 1972 after 20 years of service. Prior to this he served four years with the Army during WW II and received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

Guy, a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, belonged to the VFW Post 8841 of Youngstown and the Trumbull County Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans and enjoyed gardening.

He leaves two daughters, Anita (Medhi) Bonakdar of Panama City, FL and Susan (Keith) Townsend of Hubbard; two sisters, Rose Cashier of Hubbard and Eleanor Ohle of Boardman and two grandchildren Donna Miller of Marietta, GA and Shannon Whitaker of Hubbard.

His parents, three brothers, Edward, Tom and Walter Angelo and two sisters, Edith Affinito and Viola Burns, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:30 am at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 12:00 Noon at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 am prior to the prayer service.
