HUBBARD Gladys L. Edwards, 83 of Hubbard, died Saturday morning at Liberty Health Care. She was born April 12, 1918, in Hubbard, a daughter of William O. and Henrietta Maguire Stiver and was a life long Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Edwards transported handicapped children for over 20 years and prior to this she worked for the Hubbard Post Office and Packard Electric Corp.

She was a member of Coalburg Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting.

Her husband, Walter (Judy) E. Edwards, whom she married July 25, 1937, died May 25, 1983. She leaves a son, Ralph Edwards of Boardman; one daughter, Harriet Blazak of Hubbard; two sisters, Laverne Raseta and Lillian Ellis, both of Hubbard; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son, Terry Lee Edwards, one brother, James Stiver, and four sisters, Kathryn Simmons, Myrtle Gray, Barbara Seavers and Margaret Stiver are deceased.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday.
