HUBBARD Giulio Campana, 63, died Saturday morning, April 26, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1944, in Barrea, Italy, a son of Dominic and Santina Iannucci Campana and came to the United States and settled in this area in 1959.
Mr. Campana, who owned and operated Campana Plumbing and Heating for 37 years, was a member of St. Patrick Church and enjoyed playing morra, bocce and belonged to several bocce leagues. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening and served with the U S Army obtaining the rank of Sergeant.
He leaves his wife, the former Theresa M. DePinto, whom he married May 17, 1975; one son, Julio A. Campana of Austintown; one daughter, Maria (Brian) Good of Liberty; two brothers, Michael Campana of Poland and Albert Campana of Austintown; two sisters, Carmella Cesta of Niles and Rose Terzigni of Howland; one grandson, Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 9:15 am at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
