DENVER, COLORADO Georgetta M. Wylam, formerly of New Bedford, PA, died Friday, December 9, 2005, in Denver, Colorado. She was born December 20, 1915, in New Bedford, PA, a daughter of George and Elizabeth McClenehan Wortman.
Mrs. Wylam retired from Gorant Candies in Boardman after many years of service. She was a member of Canfield Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star, Trias Chapter No. 573 in Youngstown. Georgetta enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Her husband, Frank Wylam, whom she married April 17, 1941, died in July 1971.
She leaves a daughter, Mary Beth (James) Hopkins of Denver, CO and a daughter-in-law, Minnie D. (Anthony) Wylam-Roncone of Columbiana, OH; four grandchildren, Todd Hopkins, Amy Beth Pike, Stephany Eckard and Ashley Wylam and two great grandchildren, Scott E. Eckard and Rebekah C. Eckard.
Besides her husband, her parents, a son, Eugene F. Wylam, two brothers and six sisters, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the services.
