HUBBARD George E. Hall, 57, of Hubbard, died on Saturday evening, March 22, 2008, at his residence. He was born on January 28, 1951, in Youngstown, a son of Horace E. "Gus" and Betty Pierce Hall and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Hall was the owner and operator of Geo's Boring since 1993, prior to that he worked for Youngstown Thermal for 12 years. George attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Boardman. He was a 1969 graduate of Hubbard High School and loved camping and model trains.

He leaves his wife, the former Joan M. Bizub, whom he married on June 25, 1972; a son, George E. Hall II of Hubbard; a daughter, Jodie A. (Dave) Stipanovich of Austintown; a brother, John L. (Wendy) Hall of Hubbard; a sister, Mary Ann (Dave) Stockfisch of Traverse City, MI and seven grandchildren, Josh, Alyssa, Jordan, Katie, David, A.J. and Zachary.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his step-mother, Zetta Fahndrich, who reared him, and a brother, Thomas L. Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
