HUBBARD Gary A. DeSantis Sr., 52, died Thursday morning January 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 1, 1961 in Youngstown, a son of Anthony "Frenchy" and Jeanette "Dolly" (Lupe) DeSantis.

Gary was a 1979 graduate of Hubbard High School and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a journeyman carpenter and cabinetmaker for the A. G. DeSantis Co., Inc. for 10 years and had previously worked for McRoyal Industries, Waller Duman and Crowes Cabinets and Carpentry. Gary was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, loved being by the water and most of all just loved being with his family.

He leaves his parents of Hubbard; his wife, the former Angela Campana, whom he married February 28, 1981; three sons, Gary A. (Lindsey) DeSantis II of Florence, SC, David M. DeSantis (girlfriend Amber) of Hubbard and John A. (Fiancé©e Lauren) DeSantis at home; a daughter, Christina M. DeSantis (boyfriend Trevor) at home; a brother, Jeff (Bernadette) DeSantis of Constableville, NY and two sisters, Leah (Mario) Boselli of Victorville, CA and Gail (Brian) Kirby of Houston, TX; a brother-in-law, Ralph J. (Annie) Campana Jr. of Brunswick, OH; a sister-in-law, Virginia M. (Edward) Gentile of Cortland; 2 nieces and 4 nephews and 4 great nieces and 5 great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael and Mary (Pascarella) DeSantis and Theodore and Betty (Timer) Lupe and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ralph J. and Virginia (Landolfi) Campana.

Family and friends may call on Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and 12:00 PM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
