FOWLER Gary Lee Coursen, 55, of Fowler OH, went to be with his Lord on December 16, 2013 at University Hospital in Cleveland after a 6 month battle with cancer. Gary was born on August 2, 1958 in Sharon, PA. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rebecca Coursen, daughters Sally Elizabeth (21) and Julia Alice (18) Coursen. He is also survived by his mother, Audrey Coursen and his brother Dave Coursen and wife Karen. He is pre-deceased by his father, David W Coursen. Gary graduated from Hubbard High School (76) and Kent State University, and was a long time employee and news director at WKBN/WYTV. Gary was also an avid runner, biker, hiker, and outdoorsman, and he never stopped looking for a good news story.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home (330-534-1952). There will be calling hours on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 12:00 – 4:00 at the Cortland Trinity Baptist Church, located at 2576 McCleary Jacoby Rd, Cortland, OH, (330) 637-1421, with a memorial service following from 4:00-5:00. The service will be officiated by Pastor Dan Barker.
