Franklin Fiedler's Obituary


HUBBARD Franklin W. Fiedler, 94, died Sunday May 8, 2011 at Liberty Health Care. He was born February 23, 1917 in Brookfield, a son of Frank and Lula Arner Fiedler.

Mr. Fiedler was a press operator for Powell Pressed Steel and attended the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene. He served with the United States Army during World War II

Franklin farmed all of his life, raised animals, loved walking his dogs and gardening.

His wife, the former Verla Miller, whom he married July 1949, died September 1984.

He leaves a son, Roy Fiedler of Hubbard; a daughter, Carolette (Tim) DeVinney of Hubbard; three grandsons, Chip (Lysa) DeVinney of Akron, Tim DeVinney of Akron and Dale (Angela) DeVinney of Chicago; great grandchildren, Sydney, Cole, Jacob and Joseph DeVinney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Raymond Fiedler; two brothers, Lawrence and Ellsworth Fiedler and a sister Pearl Fiedler.

A memorial service will be held Thursday 11:00 AM at the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene.
