WEST MIDDLESEX, PA Franklin "Frank" D. R. Dillon, 70, died Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2008, at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1938, in Youngstown, a son of Matthew P. and Della Marie Moore Dillon and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Dillon was of the Assembly of God faith and worked for Zambelli Fireworks, New Castle, PA, for 11 years retiring in 2006. He previously owned and operated Keystone Security and Investigations in New Castle for 20 years, was a former Pulaski Township police officer, drove bus for Anderson Bus Co., was a school bus driver and worked for Republic Steel Corp. Frank enjoyed fishing and served with the U.S. Navy for four years.

He leaves his wife, the former Mona L. L. White Walters, whom he married March 11, 1995; one son, David Walters of New Castle, PA; six daughters, Debra (William) Crissey of Cleveland, Della (Jesse) Connor and Shirley (Mark) Rossner, both of Middleburg, FL, Theresa (Horace) Davis of Pensacola, FL, Lisa (Kenneth) Sumey of Edinburg, PA and Christine Walters of New Castle, PA; two brothers, Ezra Dillon of North Jackson, OH and Matthew P. Dillon of AZ; one sister, Dorothy Drake of Pulaski, PA; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Hazel Keener and Florence Davidson.

There are no services or calling hours.
