HUBBARD It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Frank F. "Tacky" "Eug" Carsone III, 72, has lost his 10 plus year battle with cancer on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at his home. He was born May 13, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of Frank F. "Tacky" and Josephine M. "Josie" August Carsone II and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Carsone, a 1970 graduate of Hubbard High School was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He served with the United States Air Force and was stationed in Frankfurt Germany. Tacky was a GCA Auditor for General Motors Lordstown for over 30 years, retiring in 2017 and also did taxidermy work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy, photography, was an artist and loved painting.

He leaves two sons, Frank Carsone IV of Hubbard who was his caregiver and Andrew Carsone of Niles; a sister, Charlene Butryn and her husband Thomas of Columbiana and the mother of his children, Renee Carsone of Austintown.

Tacky was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral services.

Tacky's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lori Hemrock for keeping him alive as long as she did. Tacky requests everyone to please get a PSA blood test to help them avoid getting cancer. His family asks that if your family doctor does not offer PSA testing, please request to do this test. This is something his family doctor did not perform.
