HUBBARD Frank J. "Jiggs" Perrotta, 82, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, September 1, 2005 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1922, in Hubbard, a son of Michael and Lucy Conti Perrotta and was a life long Hubbard resident.

Mr. Perrotta was a welder at GATX in Masury for 41 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Bernadette Church in Masury and a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II. Jiggs enjoyed NASCAR, baseball and football.

He leaves his former wife, June Perrotta of Hubbard; three sons, Michael P. Perrotta of Hubbard, Patrick C. (Shirley) Perrotta of Virginia Beach, VA and Mario S. Perrotta of Hubbard; a daughter, Lucia (Tim) Perrotta-Bard of Carlisle, PA; a sister, Kathryn DeSanctis of Hubbard and three grandchildren, Jake Perrotta, Emily Perrotta and Daphne Perrotta.

His parents, a son, Francis Perrotta, Jr., a brother, Bill Perrotta and sisters, Mary Brest and Isabel Douglas, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
