HUBBARD Frank R. Czubek, 88, died Thursday morning, June 18, 2009 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born August 11, 1920 in Campbell, a son of John and Mary Piskorowski Czubek and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Czubek was a welder for Youngstown Sheet and Tube – LTV for 41 ½ years, retiring August 1, 1982. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his family, took pride in his vegetable garden, enjoyed auctions and swimming at the Hubbard Community Pool for 23 years.

He leaves his wife, the former, Mary Nemetz, whom he married May 21, 1949; two sons, Richard (Cathy) Czubek of Batavia, OH and Frank Czubek of Hubbard; three daughters, Delores (George) Alexee of Canfield, Marilyn (David) Scheetz of Chicago, IL and Paula (Tim) Romano of Hubbard; a sister, Bertha Lilac of Pittsburgh and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Joseph Czubek, Al Kopac, Ed Kopac and Ted Kopachynski.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
