CAMPBELL Frank J. Blasko, 87, of Campbell, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1916, in Campbell, a son of Steven and Susan Ondra Blasko, and lived most of his life in the area.
Mr. Blasko was a carpenter for 31 years retiring in 1978. Prior to this he worked for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. He was a member of St. John's Church in Campbell, the American Legion, the Slovak Catholic Sokol and the Carpenters' Union Local 1590, Washington, D.C. He served with the Army Air Corps in World War II.
His wife, the former Catherine Landis, whom he married August 2, 1959, died September 2, 1964. He leaves three brothers, Steve Blasko of Struthers, Ed Blasko and Thomas Blasko, both of Hubbard; and one sister, Agnes Hamady of Hubbard.
His parents, three brothers, Paul, Lawrence and George Blasko, two sisters, Kathryn Walko and Dorothy Blasko, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
