Biography
LIBERTY TWP Francis Paul Cleary, Sr. 92, died January 9, 2011 at Hospice House. He was born September 21, 1918 in Aliquippa, PA a son of James and Catherine Cleary.
Francis was a conductor for Conrail for over 30 years before retiring in 1981. He served with the United States Army.
His wife, the former Ruth Bowser, whom he married September 16, 1950, died November 26, 2002.
He leaves a son, Francis Paul Cleary, Jr. of Sugarland, TX; three grandchildren, Francis Paul Cleary III, William Z. Cleary and Sarah Cleary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Cleary; a half brother, Jerry Wagner and a sister, Catherine Springer.
There are no calling hours or services
Burial will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
