HUBBARD Frances L. Waller, 79, passed away peacefully Friday morning November 15, 2024 at her home. She was born October 23, 1945, in Sugar Creek, PA, she was a daughter of Andrew and Dorothy Rohr Chrispen.
Frani lived a colorful and adventurous life. She spent most of her youth at Moose Heart School for orphaned children in Illinois. Carrying many cherished friendships like Kat and Bonnie, through life. She enjoyed staying in touch and corresponding with her alumni. She then graduated from Oil City High School in 1963. Frani was a perfectionist and was truly good at anything tried. If she didn't know how to do something, she bought a book and taught herself. Such an independent woman. Being an Administrative Professional most of her life and then retiring from Target. She enjoyed photography, crocheting, traveling, reading, crosswords and loved her animals.
Still here on earth, to cherish memories of her are two sisters, Patricia Lohr of Centerville, PA and Sally Diamond of Hubbard OH. Surviving nieces and nephews include Andy Shaffer, Norma Perry, JoAnn Chelton, Eric Lohr, Donna Jackson, Tina Ghering, Rex, Dan and Don Chrispen, Ginger McFadden, Penny Kaminske, Cindy Barr. Many great nieces and nephews. Numerous cousins including Thom Kimes who was more like a best friend. Also, very near and dear to her heart were her stepchildren and grandchildren (who lovingly called her Grani Frani and Fran Dog); Lisa Waller, Christine Waller McCallum and husband Nick (Dohenie Weenie), their children; Stephanie, Jessica and Kyle.
She will be reunited in heaven with her parents, her brothers; Bob and John "Jack" Chrispen, two sisters; Nancy Chelton and Jean McMillen, nephews; Bobby, John and Doug Chrispen, Denny McMillen and Greg Lohr. Nieces; Cass Thomas and Joyce Shook, and stepson Joey Waller. She will also be greeted by some of her most beloved pets; Betsy, Molly, Lucy, Zoey, Bailey and Cujo to name a few.
T here are no calling hours or funeral services, however the family will be having a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
If anyone should care to make any donations in her name please consider any local animal shelter/rescue or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
