HUBBARD Funeral services were held Friday for Frances Amelia Marrokal, 94, who died Sunday morning August 3, 2014 at her home. She was born September 16, 1919 in Hubbard, a daughter of Thomas and Amelia Pratt Galati and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Marrokal was a cook and assistant manager of Tiffany Manor Inc. from 1977 to 1989 and formerly was a cook for the Hubbard Exempted Village School District for 12 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading and listening to country music.

Her husband, Albert Dominic Marrokal, whom she married January 1, 1946, died in August 1999.

She leaves one son, Tom (Dawn Porter) Marrokal of Austintown; two daughters, Eileen (Robert) Kolat of Brookfield and Patricia (Daniel) Haldi of Port Orange, FL; a brother, Ken Galati of Brookfield; two sisters, Virginia (Jay) Harper and Antoinette and the late Glenn Foltz; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Thomas Galati Jr., Frank Galati and Charles Galati and two sisters, Marie Galati and Josephine Galati.

Her final resting place will be Hubbard Union Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley for Trumbull County, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
