HUBBARD Floyd B. Starr, 96 of Hubbard, formerly of Warren, died Tuesday evening, April 27, 2004, at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital, Warren, OH. He was born October 7, 1907, in Horton, PA a son of Garfield and Annie Clinton Starr and moved to Hubbard two years ago after living in Warren for many years.

Mr. Starr worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp., Transformer Division in Sharon, PA for over 30 years retiring in1973. He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and shooting pool. He served two tours of duty with the Army from 1931 to 1934 and during World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Viola Steiner Klasic, whom he married May 29, 1972; several nieces and nephews whom he helped rear when his brother Albert died, June Metter of Warren, Eileen Gintert of Newton Falls, John Starr of Warren, David Starr of Youngstown, Carolyn Walker of Warren and Gerald Starr of Warren.

His parents, two brothers, Albert and John Starr, a sister, Gertrude Byerly and a nephew Robert Starr are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, 5 to 8 PM.
