HUBBARD Mrs. Evelyn Moening, 84, of Hubbard, died Friday morning, April 26, 2002, at her home. She was born October 27, 1917 in Franklin, PA, a daughter of Ralph Smith and Iva Irene Perrine Boals and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Moening was a cook at Bell Wick Bowl in Hubbard for 20 years, and prior to this she worked for Photogenic Machine Co., Boardman, OH for 28 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Hubbard, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and taught the Missionettes for over 50 years. She bowled in the Monday Afternoon Senior League and the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club League serving as President.

Her husband, Ralph Moening, whom she married September 21, 1936, died in 1950. She leaves a son, Paul Moening of Niles, OH; a daughter, Clara Chengelis of Austintown; a sister, Mary Erb of Canfield, OH; eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A daughter, Irene Miligi, a brother, Robert O. Boals and a sister, Helen V. Orr are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
