HUBBARD Evelyn M. "Lynn" Miller, 67, of Hubbard, died Wednesday afternoon, December 18, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Heath Center. She was born April 8, 1935 in Sharon Pa., a daughter of John and Caroline Rose Ambrose Grega and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Miller, a homemaker, was a member of St Patrick Church of Hubbard where she served as past chairman of Parish Council, a member of Circle of Love, Evenings for the Engaged and the St. Vincent de Paul food drive. She also was an active volunteer for over 30 years in the Lake to River Girl Scout Council where she was a leader, a trainer for leaders, and a trainer of trainers. She also helped implement Home Alone, a Latch Key program for children in many area schools. In 1986 she received Girl Scouting's highest honor, the Thanks Badge. Mrs. Miller was a 1953 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, Pa.

She leaves her husband, James "Chick" Miller, whom she married October 6, 1956; one son, Steve of Hubbard; three daughters, Lorraine (Bill) Murphy of Canton, Karen (Bill) Boze of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Marilyn (Bob) Maruskin of Hubbard; her mother-in-law, Mary Drissen of Coalburg and five grandchildren. Her parents and a brother, Robert Grega are deceased.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Friday, 4 to 7 PM.
