HUBBARD Evelyn G. Davies, 87 of Hubbard, died Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health+ Center. She was born May 28, 1914, in Paintsville, KY, a daughter of Horatio and Zula Lyons Daniel and lived most of her life in this area.

Mrs. Davies was a homemaker and a member of Coitsville Presbyterian Church where she was involved in several organizations and activities within the church.

Her husband, Harold C. Davies Sr., whom she married July 13, 1935, died November 12, 1993. She leaves two sons, Richard D. (Frances) Davies of Port St. Lucie, FL and Dale T. Davies of Miami Lakes, FL; a brother, Owen (Barbara) Daniel of Springhill FL; a sister, Carrie (Fritz) Shipton of Hubbard; a daughter in law, Mary Davies of Girard; a sister in law, Ann Daniel of Avon, CO; three grandchildren. A son, Harold "Butch" Davies Jr., and three brothers, Horatio, Oshel and her twin, Everett are deceased.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 5 to 8 PM.
