HUBBARD Mr. Eugene "Gene" M. Flynn, 48, of Hubbard, died Sunday, November 3, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1954 in Youngstown, a son of John T. and Louise M. Vadjina Flynn and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Flynn was a Dispatcher for the Hubbard Police Dept. for 16 years and prior to this he worked for the Truscon Division of Republic Steel for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golf, and was a NASCAR fan.

He leaves his mother, Louise M. Flynn of Hubbard; his wife, the former Pamela Townsend, whom he married March 30, 1979; a son, Joel T. Flynn of Hubbard; two daughters, Michele J. (Jason) Stere and Nicole J. Flynn both of Hubbard; four brothers, John T. Flynn of Hubbard, Michael G. Flynn of Virginia Beach, VA; Gerald P. Flynn of Hubbard and David J. Flynn of Columbus; a sister, Kathy Globeck of Campbell; two grandchildren, Austin and Dakota Stere. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Wednesday, 5 to 8 PM and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday, 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
