LIBERTY Eugene P. "Gino" Alexander, 43, died January 26, 2010, at his home. He was born October 31, 1966 in Hubbard, a son of Eugene E. and Betty A. Fabry Alexander and was a lifelong area resident.
Gino worked for Masters Tuxedo & Uniforms, Youngstown and was a member of St. Patrick Church, and the Grace Lutheran Church both of Hubbard. During his senior year at Hubbard High School, Gino was one of seven in the state of Ohio to become a Japanese foreign exchange student sponsored by the Chrysler Motor Corporation, he was also a member of the Hubbard High School wrestling team.
He rebuilt bikes for needy kids and was willing to give anything he could to anyone at no cost.
Gino enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid biker and fisherman, built custom automobiles and could make anything out of wood or metal.
He leaves his father Eugene of Las Vegas, a longtime businessman in Hubbard; two sisters, Annette Moody of Utica, PA and Darla Alexander of Port St. Lucie, FL and a nephew, Dalton Alexander Imber of Port St. Lucie, FL.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty, who taught elementary school in Brookfield for many years.
