NILES Estella Jean Anderson, 82, died Monday evening January 25, 2010 at Hospice House. She was born March 16, 1927 in Brownsville, PA a daughter of Joseph and Alice Hayden Maust and has lived in Niles for 50 years coming from Apollo, PA.
Mrs. Anderson, a homemaker, was a member of the First Christian Church of Niles. Estella was a member of the Moose Club of Niles and enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting, sewing, painting and dancing.
She leaves her husband, Thomas Anderson, whom she married August 3, 1946; two sons, David J. (Charlene) Anderson and Michael A. Anderson both of Niles; a daughter, Rebecca A. (Tony) Kavalesky of Hubbard; four grandchildren, Lynnette Chiodi, Carey (Mark) Steele, Christopher (Nicole) Anderson and Steven (Shannon) Anderson; eight great grandchildren, Charlie, Wesley and Sophia Steele, Mason and Liam Chiodi and Nathan, Benjamin and Olivia Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harry Maust and six sisters, Juanita Maust, Alta Duffner, Genevieve Kemnuir, Dorothy Ripple, Betty Houserman and Edwina Eckman.
There are no calling hours or services.
