HUBBARD Mr. Elroy D. Oliver, 72, of Hubbard, died Tuesday evening, January 29, 2002, at Northside Medical Center. He was born October 14, 1929 in Salem, OH, a son of Lonnie and Margaret Brewer Oliver and lived in Hubbard since 1960.

Mr. Oliver worked in the Masonry Department at Sharon Steel Corp. for 40 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and served with the United States Army during the Korean War.

He leaves his wife, the former Pauline C. Rufo, whom he married November 9, 1957; two daughters, Andrea L. Oliver and Paula J. Oliver both of Hubbard; a brother, Guy Oliver of Bothell, WA and a sister, Virginia Piccolin of Greenville, PA. A sister died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Friday, 5 to 8 PM.
