GIRARD Elma J. Whiteman, 81, died Monday morning September 22, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1932 in West Middlesex, PA a daughter of Howard and Jennie Atterholt Davidson and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Whiteman was a nurse's assistant for many years, having worked at Youngstown Community Action, Trumbull County Nursing Home, Sharon General Hospital and for Overlook Nursing Home. Elma enjoyed dancing and crocheting.

She leaves two sons, Howard Roth of Niles and Raymond Roth of New Wilmington, PA; a daughter, Carol Roth of New Castle; a sister Eleanor Stevenson of Youngstown; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
