Obituary

HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Elizabeth Ann Garzan, 87, who died Wednesday morning February 6, 2013 at her home. She was born November 30, 1925 in Mahoningtown, PA a daughter of Glen and Esther Ruth Britton Turner and has lived in Hubbard since 1960.

Mrs. Garzan, a homemaker, worked at various jobs over the years, including working at Mahoning Bank as a teller. Elizabeth volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital with her husband for many years. She was always generous with her time and energy for family and friends. Elizabeth loved sewing, needlecraft work and genealogy. Her grandmother Elizabeth Barter Britton was a first cousin to Florence Nightingale.

She leaves her husband, Thomas M. Garzan, whom she married February 27, 1965; two sons, Joseph P. Mortimer of Hubbard and Roland F. "Mort" Mortimer of Campbell and a daughter, Cheryl L. (Jerry) Lambert of Painesville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert L. Smith; two brothers, Richard Turner and George Hilkirk and a sister, Ruth Buckey. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother and an infant sister.

There are no calling hours.

Interment will take place at Brookfield Township Cemetery.
