HUBBARD Elizabeth G. "Betty" Calvert, 87, died Friday evening, May 4, 2007, at her home with many friends and relatives around her. She was born October 30, 1919, in Hubbard, a daughter of Nicholas and Cherubina Patrick Venditti and lived in Shawneetown, IL for many years before returning to Hubbard in 2002.

Aunt Betty, as she was affectionately called, was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Assembly in Youngstown. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, cooking and loved everybody unconditionally.

Her husband, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. (Ret.) John W. Calvert, whom she married in 1954, died in 2002. She leaves a son, Vincent (Patty) Dagata and an "adopted son" Richard Greenlee, both of Tampa, FL; two brothers, Guido Venditti of Boardman and Jerome Vanditti of Hubbard; three sisters, Clara Mansel of Wheatland, PA, Fay Koop of Coraopolis, PA and Nancy (Joel) Sabella of Hubbard; four grandchildren; one great grandson and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Ann Gori, Lillian Pritchard, Jean Stafford and Lucille Stafford and two brothers, Arthur Venditti and Walter Vanditti.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the service.

Further services and burial will take place in Shawneetown, IL.
