HUBBARD Elizabeth C. "Betty" Budd, 85, died Thursday afternoon May 5, 2011 at her home. She was born July 4, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Jacob and Catherine Hoffman Walter and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Budd, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church and the Chestnut Ridge Church of God. She enjoyed baking cakes, especially wedding cakes and singing.

Her husband, Andrew Budd, Sr., whom she married October 19, 1946, died June 12, 2005.

Betty leaves four sons, Andrew (Sharon) Budd, Jr. of Madison, OH, William Budd and James (Kathy) Budd both of Hubbard and Richard (Michele) Budd of Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Jeanne Vernell of Athens and Elizabeth (George) Rimko of Liberty; three nieces, Rosemary Maki Ramatici of California, Eleanor Serich of Florida and Elizabeth Maki of Hawaii; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Robert Budd; two brothers; six sisters and a granddaughter, Lianne Vernell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
