HUBBARD Eleanore M. Repko Fischio, 85, of Hubbard, died Monday morning, February 6, 2006 at Park Vista in Youngstown. She was born December 20, 1920, in Campbell, a daughter of John W. and Anna Martin Repko and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Fischio was a homemaker and formerly a welder at Truscon Steel. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, a member of St. Elizabeth Church Crocheting Circle and enjoyed crocheting and music. Eleanore was a secretary to the former Mayor Pacella of Campbell.
Her husband, John H. Fischio, whom she married June 30, 1945, died on July 20, 1985.
She leaves a son, Nicholas R. Fischio of Hubbard; a daughter, June A. Evans, of Hubbard; a brother, Edward Repko of Campbell; a sister, Gertrude Cantanzriti, of Campbell; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Besides her husband, her parents, a son, John A. Fischio who was killed in Viet Nam on March 6, 1968, three brothers, Robert Repko, John L. Repko and Raymond who died in infancy and three sisters, Margaret Polito, Evelyn Repko and Irene Fischio preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
