HUBBARD Earl D. Beckner, 85, died Sunday June 1, 2014 at Hospice House. He was born January 19, 1929 in Youngstown, a son of Ira and W. Ethyl Johnston Beckner.

Mr. Beckner was a press operator at U.S. Can for over thirty years and was a member of Central Christian Church. Earl loved gardening and was proud of his garden, was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and swimming.

His wife, the former, Berneace Conrad, whom he married on March 5, 1983, died April 25, 2005.

He leaves two step-sons, Kenneth Palko of Hubbard and Donald (Sheila) Palko of Chandlersville, OH; two step-daughters, Susan (James) Powell of Earl Park, IN and Brenda (William) Ojendyk of Chicago, IL; Six step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 5, 2014 one hour prior to service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kelley~Robb~Cummins Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Kelley~Robb~Cummins Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hitchcock officiating.

Earl's final resting place will be at Corner House Cemetery.
