Douglas Schotten's Obituary


HUBBARD Douglas Lee Schotten, 45, of Hubbard, died Sunday afternoon at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1963 in Cincinnati a son of James L. and Nancy F. Leach Schotten.

Mr. Schotten was a truck driver for 21 years. He was a graduate of Marysville High School, Marysville, OH, a member of the Marysville Swing Choir, the Marysville Marching Band playing the clarinet and a member of the Debate Team.

Douglas attended the Ohio State University and was a member of the marching band. He attended the Dublin Baptist Church, Dublin, OH, and had a great love for music, old movies, history documentaries and riding his Harley motorcycle.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Nancy Schotten of Hubbard; a sister, Donna L. Schotten of Columbus and a loving extended group of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Lee and Hazel Schotten and Glenn and Eunice Leach.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm.
