HUBBARD Dorothy Ann Cornell, 93, died Friday evening May 10, 2024 at Elmwood Assisted Living. She was born March 22, 1931 in Sharon, PA a daughter of George and Dorothea Dennis Kaiser and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Cornell, a graduate of Sharon High School was a homemaker. She was a member of the Masury Methodist Church until its closure and then attended Central Christian Church. Dorothy loved baking cookies, enjoyed playing cards, BINGO and going to casinos.

She leaves her husband, William G. Cornell, whom she married September 3, 1949; two sons, William G. Cornell Jr. of Brookfield and George R. Cornell and his wife Vicki of Masury; a daughter, Diane L. Miller and her husband James of Hubbard; a sister, Georgine Muller of Greenville, PA; six grandchildren, Tammy, Bo, Lynle, Melissa, Amy and Ryan; 2 step grandchildren, Jennifer and Jamie and 11 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cindie Jankowski; a sister, Donna Lee Moore and a stepbrother, Robert Bollinger.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday May 15, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Hitchcock officiating.

Dorothy's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Elmwood Assisted Living for their kind and compassionate care.

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
