Biography

HUBBARD Doris M. Swogger, 92, died Friday afternoon August 5, 2011 at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home with her son Terrance by her side. She was born January 11, 1919 in Sharon, a daughter of Doris Brownlee and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Swogger was a salesperson for Strouss Department Store for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She loved gardening and making hanging baskets.

Her husband, Uriah A. Swogger, died April 22, 1988.

She leaves two sons, Terrance Swogger of Hubbard and Donald Swogger of New Port Richey, FL; two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jack Brownlee and a sister, Geraldine Follett.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.
