Donna Walker's Obituary
HUBBARD Calling hours will be held Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Donna Jean Jones Walker, 75, who died Saturday evening November 24, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center after an eight week battle from congestive heart failure. Donna was born July 24, 1937 at home, in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Alice Brownlee Jones Sr.
Mrs. Walker worked for Haines Drug Store for many years and later in life was a caregiver for elderly couples. She was also a volunteer for the Mahoning Valley Red Cross and a member of the Candle Glow Support Group. Donna enjoyed NASCAR, watching holiday programs with her grandkids, watching the Cooking Channel and playing cards.
Her husband, Fred Walker, whom she married August 20, 1966, died May 30, 1997.
She leaves a daughter, Alyce Walker Harrison; a granddaughter, Nicole Harrison and a grandson, Dale Harrison Jr. all of Hubbard; her brother and best friend, Thomas (Janet) Jones of Boardman; a niece, Melissa Sahli; two nephews, Richard Jones and Ken Szenborn all of Boardman and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
