HUBBARD Donald R. Sarahs, 92, died Saturday morning, October 22, 2011 at his home. He was born August 17, 1919 in Duquesne, PA a son of Nelson H. and Minnie Maud Rivers Sarahs.

Mr. Sarahs was a crane operator for Valley Mould & Iron Corp. for 30 years before retiring in 1970 and was a school bus driver for Hubbard and Brookfield for 8 years. He served with the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the Corner House Christian Church. Donald enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and hunting.

He leaves a son, Martin C. (Jan) Sarahs of California; two daughters, Jean L. Moore of Hubbard and Cindy L. (Pete) Hartshorne of Florida; a niece, Mary (Rich) Nagy; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Donald R. Sarahs II and a daughter, Sandra McKinstry.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Hubbard, OH 44425.

Burial will be at Corner House Cemetery.
