YOUNGSTOWN Donald E. Reed, 91, formally of Hubbard passed away on Tuesday morning, August 6, 2013 at Omni Manor. He was born August 9, 1921 a son of George and Viola Parks Reed.

Mr. Reed was a Crane Man at Sharon Steel Corp for 27 years, retiring in 1983. Donald is a World War II Army Veteran, served in the south pacific and enjoys hunting, his dogs and cats and would take in any stray cat that would come to his house.

His wife, the former Hazel Roades, whom he married in 1945 died in 1990.

He leaves a sister Mildred Snyder of Centre Hall PA and his nephew and caregiver John Shuey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Charles, Robert and Philip Reed and three sisters Betty Norris, Sara Vangar and Martha Emel.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 7:00 PM at The Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Friends and Family may call on Thursday, 6:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Black Oak Cemetery, Port Mitilda, PA at a later date.
