HUBBARD Donald E. Porter, 71, of Hubbard, died Monday, June 4, 2007, at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. He was born on October 17, 1935, in Youngstown, a son of Earl and Julia Szekeres Porter and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Porter worked at General Motors in Lordstown for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Hubbard Conservation Club and enjoyed hunting and woodworking. Don had served in the Ohio National Guard.

He leaves his wife, the former Shirley Kay Stalnaker, whom he married on August 31, 1963.

His parents preceded him in death.

In keeping with Mr. Porter's request, there are no calling hours or funeral services.
