HUBBARD Dennis L. "Junior" Basham, 28, of Hubbard died Saturday evening at his residence. He was born January 13, 1980 in Michigan City, IN, a son of Dennis C. and Deborah Phillips Basham and lived in Hubbard for 3 years.

Mr. Basham worked for the City of Hubbard and previously was a supervisor with Elwood Casting. Junior enjoyed playing the guitar, music, football and was a Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.

He leaves his parents of Hubbard, his fiancé, Danielle Devan of Hubbard; a son, Jakob Loren Basham; two brothers, Derek Basham of Knox, IN and Brian Basham of Hubbard; a sister, Nicole Basham of Hubbard; grandparents, Wayne Wible of Michigan City, IN, Thomas Basham of Tennessee, Paul Phillips of Wellston, OH and Richard and Glenna Piotrowski of Michigan City, IN.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Nella Corrina Wible.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2:00 PM at the Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St., Michigan City, IN 46360.

There are no calling hours.

Local arrangements were handled by the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
